USD.AI: GPU loans behind a synthetic dollar
Operators borrow against GPUs. Depositors hold USDai or stake sUSDai. Credit lives on Arbitrum. Tokens can show up on Solana as OFTs.
devrels.xyz/a/267GPU shops need cash for hardware. USD.AI is the credit market that lends against that fleet. You do not underwrite the loan. You hold tokens. The hub is Arbitrum. This is not a Solana mint.

Two tokens, one book
Deposit PYUSD, mint USDai. That dollar is meant to stay liquid and isolated from GPU risk. Stake USDai, mint sUSDai. Yield is GPU loan interest plus Treasury yield on idle cash. It shows up in the exchange ratio. You do not claim it.
Direct mint and redeem at the contract is for KYC market makers and institutions. Anyone can hold, transfer, and stake. If you are not on the list, buy USDai on a DEX or CEX, then stake on the app.
| Token | What it is |
|---|---|
| USDai | Synthetic dollar, 1:1, PYUSD-backed. No GPU book. Instant redeem for those who can mint. |
| sUSDai | Not a stablecoin. Vault share. GPU loans plus T-bills. Unstake is queued (about 30 days). |
| CHIP | Governance. Hardware list, rates, fees. |
How the vault works
Stake is a normal ERC-4626 deposit / mint. Unstake is ERC-7540: requestRedeem, then redeem after the window. Loans are non-recourse to the GPU and cashflows, with springing corporate recourse for fraud. Collateral in the docs: NVIDIA B300, B200, GB300, RTX 6000, RTX 5090. LTV in public notes: 70 to 80 percent.
Developer: Permian Labs. Loan router: usdai-foundation/usdai-loan-router-contracts.
